Barbara Bell and Margaret Atwood at Kingston WritersFest

Event production coordinator and Festival Administrator of Kingston WritersFest. The four-day festival featured over 40 authors in 27 events. Margaret Atwood, Joseph Boyden, Michael Crummey, Charlotte Gray, Lorna Crozier and many more.

July through September 2008

Produced her own one-woman play, Dreams and Desires, with performances at the Rankin Gallery, the Domino One-Act Play Festival in Kingston, western fringe festivals in Saskatoon, Victoria and Vancouver ,and two performances at the Gabriola Theatre Centre on Gabriola Island. Sets and costumes by Aileen Gale, lights and sound by Peter Cassidy, props by Kate Daley, poster design by Anthony Aird.

August 2007

Cats

Co-produced Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical CATS. "Best of 2007" Greg Burliuk Kingston Whig Standard. This production featured all new choreography by Ebon Gage and innovative costumes made from recycled clothing and dynamic makeup designs, both by Kate Daley.

February 2007

Planned an Opening Gala for the Wellington Street Theatre in Kingston Ontario. Over one hundred guests attended, including Mayor Harvey Rosen and other city dignitaries. A wine and hors d'oeuvres reception was followed by a performance of Charles Robertson's one-man play "The Hack", starring H. Benjamin Ellis. Opening Gala also included a photographic exhibition of works by Eric Bell and Steve Furster.

Produced theatrical season brochure for Bottle Tree Productions featuring graphics by Anthony Aird and photography by Eric Bell

January 2006

Co-produced Dacia Maraini's historical drama Mary Stuart. This production won multiple awards at the Eastern Ontario Drama League (EODL) full-length play competition, including Best Actress in a Major Role and Best Director

  • Award for Acting Excellence -- Jennifer Kenneally as Elizabeth and Kennedy
